Mount Olive Lodge No. 3
Our mission is to support the advancement of Prince Hall Masonry by developing Masons who are assets to the Leavenworth, Lansing and Fort Leavenworth communities.
Mount Olive Lodge's purpose is to also assist charitable programs which support the Leavenworth, Fort Leavenworth, and Lansing communities. One of our main missions is the Annual Eugene Graves Memorial Scholarship, which has awarded two scholarships annually for a total of 38 scholarships to date, to our local high school seniors.
Committed to OUR
Community
As a group of men, we have an affinity for our community. We are pillars of strength within our community and the many organizations we serve.
What is a Mason
Freemasons come from all walks of life—from the rich and famous to the poor and obscure.
Masons are men who have joined together to improve themselves. The latter is accomplished through the principles and ceremonies of the fraternity and the application of those in their homes, in their work, and in their communities. They endeavor to extend Masonic lessons into their daily lives in order to become positive influences in their homes, communities, nation, and throughout the world. They base their efforts on morality, justice, charity, truth and the laws of God. Worldwide, membership encompasses millions of men who believe and support the same fundamental principles.
Our core belief is to take good men and make them better. A Mason is a member of the oldest and largest goodwill fraternity in the world, known as Masonry or Freemasonry. Masonry teaches that each man has a duty to make life better, not just for himself, but for everyone.
